Missions of the Month for 2025
Each month of the year, Minnewashta Church supports a different “Mission of the Month”. The First Sunday of each month, the 2nd Offering will go to the Minnewashta Benevolence Fund. For the other various missions we support, we have included a link to their website or Facebook page to find out more about them. They are as follows:

- February – Open Arms Home (South African Orphanage)
- March – Bountiful Basket Food Shelf
- April – Meals on Wheels
- May – Jeremy Goodell Scholarship Fund
- June – Faith Search International
- July – Tree House Youth Outreach of Minnetonka
- August – MN Adult & Teen Challenge
- September – Alliance Defending Freedom
- October – Haiti Kids School
- November – Voice of the Martyrs Ministry
- December – Salvation Army
If you have a special interest in a faith-based charitable organization you would like considered as a “Mission of the Month”, please contact the church office. –
March Mission of the Month – Bountiful Baskets Food Shelf – Serving Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska, Victoria & surrounding area – Helping people with hunger relief. Making a real change in someone’s life.
During everyone’s life there is a period when we need help. For many this help comes in the form of food assistance to get them through their time of need. In a typical 12 month period the Bountiful Basket Food Shelf distributes over 400,000 lbs. of food. All of the 15,000 individuals served are neighbors and fellow community members who live in Eastern Carver County.
16 Years Serving the Community / 5,00 Served Annually / 2,500 Pounds Distributed Daily
First Wednesday of each month goes to the church Benevolence Fund – please give generously to support these missions, thoughtfully chosen by the Minnewashta Diaconate Board. The Missions of the Month are in addition to General Fund donations.
NOTE: When making a contribution to a Mission of the Month, please make checks payable to Minnewashta Church. We will send one check to the charity at the end of each month. Thank you.
