- MISSION OF THE MONTH – NOVEMBER – Salvation Army – Doing the most good since 1865 The Sal Army is an international movement, an evangelical part of the Universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Their vision is to be a place where people of all ages live in safe and sustainable communities, in which differences are respected, and people are empowered to learn, work, and worship in freedom. As always 1st Sunday MOM is for the Minnewashta Benevolence Fund.
- SAMARITAN’S PURSE CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES Our church is packing boxes to give as Christmas gifts. Please check the poster at the entry of our Sanctuary and pick up a shoebox and a pamphlet, “How to Pack a Shoebox,” and have the fun of buying and giving to a child in need around the world. You can include a personal letter from yourself telling them that you will be praying for them and also enclose a donation of $10.00 for shipping and other project costs.
- The deadline for our church to prepare boxes for shipping is Sunday, November 13. Also you can give on-line as stated in the pamphlet.
- Meal & Movie Night on THURSDAYS 6-7:30 PM – please sign up to provide food for future meal. Currently viewing “The Masada”
