- SAMARITAN’S PURSE CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES Our church is packing boxes to give as Christmas gifts. Please check the poster at the entry of our Sanctuary and pick up a shoebox and a pamphlet, “How to Pack a Shoebox,” and have the fun of buying and giving to a child in need around the world. You can include a personal letter from yourself telling them that you will be praying for them and also enclose a donation of $10.00 for shipping and other project costs.
- The deadline for our church to prepare boxes for shipping is Sunday, November 13. Also you can give on-line as stated in the pamphlet. The Branch has invited Minnewashta Church to join them in a Christmas Shoebox packing party October 28 and October 29. Time and location to be determined.
