DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE – Two hundred and Forty-Seven years ago the Congress of the United States of America wrote a document entitled “The Declaration of Independence.” On July 4th, we celebrate our separation from Britain as a Free Country. The Prayer team is asking each one of you to set aside a few minutes each day during the month of July to pray for our country. It can be praise and thanks for our freedom and guidance for our leaders. Also, for our families, our morals, revival for more people in our country to know Jesus as Savior! Thank you for praying for our country!
PRAYER CALENDAR – The July prayer calendar is on the table in the narthex. Please help yourself! This is a new format.
FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, MISSION OF THE MONTH – Benevolence Fund: Benevolence is the desire to help someone or a feeling of goodwill toward others. It can be monetary, to help those in need. Often it is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters, the unemployed, the underemployed and others in similar circumstances. Thank you for your generous gift.
JULY MISSION OF THE MONTH is TreeHouse Teen Outreach of Minnetonka –
Under the direction of Sam Randall, a safe space has been created for teens to talk about what’s really going on in their lives. Through weekly support group, teens get to practice vulnerability and receive support from peers and adult leaders. During “Connect”, we dig into the Bible and learn more about our God-given purpose. This program is designed to help teens to develop spiritual and personal life skills needed to grow into healthy young adults. “Next” offers group programming and personalized coaching to help teens create an educational or vocational track for their future and gain skills to be prepared for life beyond high school. When a teen joins TreeHouse, they have the opportunity to get connected with an adult mentor. Through this, teens get dedicated one-on-one time with a safe, caring adult who serves as a consistent presence and a voice of love in their life. Your support helps to provide free transportation and meals.
Please give generously to this important mission of our church.
