Each Sunday morning, the Prayer team invites those who wish to pray before the service to come to the library at 10:30 AM to have a quiet time of praying and preparing your hearts to worship the Lord.
MEAL and MOVIE WEDNESDAY at Noon – Drive thru History: The Gospels S4 episode 12 – “The
Extraordinary Life of Jesus” – On his way to Jerusalem, Jesus spent time with children and confronted a rich young ruler. Visit Bethany and experience the raising of Lazarus from the dead.
Drive thru History: The Gospels S4 episode 13 – “Jesus Arrives in Jerusalem” – Jesus visited Jericho on his final approach to Jerusalem. Experience the accounts of Bartimaeus, the blind beggar, and Zacchaeus, the tax collector.
MINNEWASHTA CHURCH LEGACY WALL – The Leadership Team would like to create a “Legacy Wall” displaying photos, signs, etc. and are looking for 3-4 volunteers. Currently, we have 2 volunteers (Susan Hickey and Carol Parker). Please contact Debra by February 29th if you are interested.
MISSION OF THE MONTH for February – Open Arms Home – Their mission is to make a lasting difference for the children they serve by providing a loving environment in which they can grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. They want children to know the love of neighbor and the love of our caring God!
BENEVOLENCE FUND – The benevolence fund is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters. The unemployed, the under employed and in other similar circumstances.
