Each Sunday morning, the Prayer team invites those who wish to pray before the service to come to the library at 10:30 AM to have a quiet time of praying and preparing your hearts to worship the Lord.

Wednesday – MEAL and MOVIE – this week, August 21st: “The Chosen”; S4 E8, 1st half: “Humble” – Jesus refuses to look and act like the Messiah everyone expects—arriving like a lamb instead of a lion and riding a donkey instead of a war horse.

Thursday – MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
– Noon – Lunch provided.

MISSION OF THE MONTH FOR AUGUST – MN Adult & Teen Challenge – Our mission is to assist men, women and teens in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life-controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

Effective and affordable programs are offered throughout Minnesota with campuses in Minneapolis, Brainerd, Duluth, Rochester and Buffalo. We have a broad spectrum of treatment and recovery programs: Outpatient (Telehealth and In-person), Licensed Residential (30-90 days), Long Term Recovery Program (12 months), Teen Residential (6-12 months) and Ongoing Recovery and Alumni Services, allowing us to effectively serve individuals with a broad spectrum of addiction issues… from those seeking treatment for the first time to those who have been struggling with addiction for many years.

BENEVOLENCE FUND
– The benevolence fund is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters. The unemployed, the under employed and in other similar circumstances.
