Each Sunday morning, the Prayer team invites those who wish to pray before the service to come to the library at 10:30 AM to have a quiet time of praying and preparing your hearts to worship the Lord.
MEAL and MOVIE WEDNESDAY at Noon – Drive thru History: The Gospels S4 EP 16 – “The Crucifixion of Jesus“. We experience the horrible torture of Jesus and his agonizing execution just outside the walls of Jerusalem. We examine the nature of crucifixion and the importance of Jesus’ death. We explore Jesus’ seven statements from the cross. We investigate the locations for Golgotha and the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea.
Drive thru History: The Gospels S4 EP 17 – “The Resurrection of Jesus”. We share in the excitement of an empty tomb three days after Jesus’ death, visiting Jerusalem to investigate the accounts of the Resurrection. We explore the Jewish and Roman responses to such a miraculous event. Jesus appeared to his disciples over a period of 40 days, including at Galilee where he gave them a Great Commission.
CHOIR – RESURECTION SUNDAY – If you are interested in singing with the Branch Choir, practices are Thursday, March 14, 21, and 28 from 6:00-7:00 PM. The choir will be singing at all 3 of the services, but you are not required to participate in all 3. Contact Jim Larson at Larson.jb@gmail.com

MISSION OF THE MONTH for March – Bountiful Basket Food Shelf –
For many, help is needed in the form of food assistance to get them through their time of need. In a typical 12-month period the Bountiful Basket distributes over 300,000 lbs. of food. All of the 15,000 individuals served are neighbors and fellow community members who live in Eastern Carver County. https://bountifulbasketfoodshelf.org/ We are joining in the MN FoodShare March Campaign.
FOOD SHELF DONATIONS – Please bring your food donations next Sunday (3.17) for the monthly collection. Items may be placed in the Narthex on the right side of coat racks in the corner next to the office. Thank you kindly in advance for your generosity!
BENEVOLENCE FUND – The benevolence fund is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters. The unemployed, the under employed and in other similar circumstances.
