SEPTEMBER MISSION OF THE MONTH is Alliance Defending Freedom – Launched in 1994 by leaders in the Christian community, ADF is the world’s largest legal organization committed to protecting religious freedom, free speech, the sanctity of life, marriage and family, and parental rights. Its focus is to defend Christians and other religious minorities against persecution and to advocate for free speech and religious freedom.
Please give generously to this important mission of our church. FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, MISSION – Benevolence Fund: Benevolence is the desire to help someone or a feeling of goodwill toward others. It can be monetary, to help those in need. Often it is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters, the unemployed, the underemployed and others in similar circumstances. Thank you for your generous gift.
TECHNICAL AND SOUND: We are looking to add one or two people to our soundboard team. If you are interested or know of anyone that is skilled in this area, please call the office. This is a PAID position. See Pastor Grant if you can assist in this area. Thanks to Gil and Chuck who have added so much to our worship time, we appreciate their service in this position. We miss them both and wish them luck as they become more involved in their new communities in New Hope and Kentucky.
FOOD SHELF: Please remember to give generously to the Food Shelf. There are shelves in the front hall to the right of the door, to place the items for community members in need.
Please sign up for coffee/treats (on the clipboard in the kitchen), for after-service fellowship.
If you have an item for the announcements, please get it to the church office by NOON on Wednesday each week. Thank you.
