Memory Verse – Ezekiel 36:26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”

“The Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him”  – Habakkuk 2:20
Each Sunday morning, the Prayer Team invites those who wish to pray before the service to come to the library at 9:45 AM to have a quiet time of praying and preparing your hearts to worship the Lord.

Today following the service at 11:00 we will be celebrating the union of marriage of Ron and Jan! Please join us for a time of food and fellowship!

OUR NEW START TIME – Effective August 6, Minnewashta Church will be meeting at a new time! Bible Study will be held at 9:45. Our worship service will change to 10:45. There will still be fellowshp and coffee following the service at 11:45. If you have any questions about this change, please contact Pastor Grant.

PRAYER CALENDAR –
The July prayer calendar is on the table in the narthex. Please help yourself! This is a new format.

JULY MISSION OF THE MONTH is TreeHouse Teen Outreach of Minnetonka
Under the direction of Sam Randall, a safe space has been created for teens to talk about what’s really going on in their lives. Through weekly support group, teens get to practice vulnerability and receive support from peers and adult leaders. During “Connect”, we dig into the Bible and learn more about our God-given purpose. This program is designed to help teens to develop spiritual and personal life skills needed to grow into healthy young adults. “Next” offers group programming and personalized coaching to help teens create an educational or vocational track for their future and gain skills to be prepared for life beyond high school. When a teen joins TreeHouse, they have the opportunity to get connected with an adult mentor. Through this, teens get dedicated one-on-one time with a safe, caring adult who serves as a consistent presence and a voice of love in their life. Your support helps to provide free transportation and meals.

Please give generously to this important mission of our church. FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, MISSION – Benevolence Fund: Benevolence is the desire to help someone or a feeling of goodwill toward others. It can be monetary, to help those in need. Often it is used to aid families with unexpected or high medical expenses, victims of natural disasters, the unemployed, the underemployed and others in similar circumstances. Thank you for your generous gift.

TECHNICAL AND SOUND: We are looking to add one or two people to our soundboard team. If you are interested or know of anyone that is skilled in this area, please call the office. Thanks to Gil and Chuck who add so much to our worship time. Please lift Chuck up in prayer as he moves to Kentucky very soon!

FOOD SHELF:
Please remember to give generously to the Food Shelf. There are shelves in the front hall to the right of the door, to place items.

TUESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP:
Grant and Debra are hosting a fellowship night! Remaining dates for this group are 7/18 and 25, 8/1, 15 and 22. Each week, one chapter of 1 Corinthians will be studied. All are welcome – meeting this week at Grant and Debra’s home!

Each Thursday – Men’s Lunch and Bible Study – Noon-1:00 PM in the Church Library. Lead by Dana Nelson.

Please sign up for coffee/treats (on the clipboard in the kitchen), for after-service fellowship.

If you have an item for the announcements, please get it to the church office by NOON on Wednesday each week. Thank you.
