  • HELP NEEDEDPlease plan to stay after church on Sunday, Nov 20 to take Christmas items from storage. We will be setting up the tree, Advent Wreath & some of the poinsettias, at a minimum, for the First Sunday of Advent. Anything left will be completed on Saturday, Nov 26 at 10 AM. ANY TIME you can give is appreciated!
  • FOOD SHELF – Please continue to give generously, especially during this Holiday Season. You may leave non-perishable items on the shelves provided near the office.
  • MISSION OF THE MONTH – NOVEMBER – Voice of the Martyrs.(VOM) is a nonprofit, interdenominational missions organization that serves persecuted Christians around the world. Founded in 1967 by Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand, VOM is dedicated to inspiring believers to deepen their commitment to Christ and to fulfill His Great Commission — no matter the cost. Please give generously to this important organization. As always 1st Sunday MOM is for the Minnewashta Benevolence Fund.
  • SAMARITAN’S PURSE CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES Our church is packing boxes to give as Christmas gifts. Please check the poster at the entry of our Sanctuary and pick up a shoebox and a pamphlet, “How to Pack a Shoebox,” and have the fun of buying and giving to a child in need around the world. You can include a personal letter from yourself telling them that you will be praying for them and also enclose a donation of $10.00 for shipping and other project costs. The deadline for our church to prepare boxes for shipping is Sunday, November 13. Also you can give on-line as stated in the pamphlet.
  • Meal & Movie Night on THURSDAYS 6-7:30 PM – please sign up if you plan to attend, so we can plan for food.
  • Get in the habit of using the CALENDAR link on the website. You can find it on the ‘What’s Happening’ drop down menu. It’s the place to find a meeting or to see if the building is in use.
  • Please sign up for coffee and treats for December. Sign up sheet is in the kitchen
  • If you have an item for the Sunday Announcements, please get your request to the church office by Wednesday.
